Arrest of Student with a Gun at School

On 04/01/2016 Demopolis Police Department School Resource Officers responded to a call of a student in possession of a gun at school in Demopolis, Al. DPD School Resource Officers and Demopolis City School Officials were able to take possession of a 38 Caliber handgun and the Student into custody. The Juvenile Student has been Charged with Possession of a Deadly Weapon on School Grounds and Carrying a Concealed Weapon. The Juvenile has been turned over to the Marengo County Juvenile Probation Office for Prosecution.
