On 02/02/17, the Demopolis Police Department Criminal Investigations Division arrested Chad Smith, W/M, aged 20 of Demopolis, Alabama for Rape in the 2nd Degree. He being older than sixteen years of age, engaged in sexual intercourse with a member of the opposite sex that was less than sixteen years old and more than twelve years old. Victim was a fourteen year old female.
He was processed and later transported the Marengo County Detention Center for a Bond Hearing.
