On March 13, 2017, the Demopolis Police Department arrested Rashawn Maurice Williams, B/M age 37 of Kinston, North Carolina for One (1) Count of Receiving Stolen Property in the First Degree. This arrest came after DPD Officers made a traffic stop on a Silver Honda Civic on Hwy 80 for driving all over the roadway. Officers ran a check on the vehicle through Marengo County E-911 Communication Center and was advised that the vehicle was stolen out of North Carolina.
The driver was arrested, processed and later transported to the Marengo County Detention Center for a Bond Hearing.
