On May 2, 2017, the Demopolis Police Department arrested Sherman LaShaw Bennett, B/M, age 39 of Demopolis, Al ., for Possession of Controlled Substance and Possession of Marijuana. His arrest came after a traffic stop on Cedar Street in Demopolis, Alabama.
He was processed and later transported to the Marengo County Detention Center for a Bond Hearing.
