On May 26, 2017 the Demopolis Police Department arrested Gregory Geroge Nevels II, B/M age 25 of Tuscaloosa, Alabama for one (1) Count of Possession of a Marijuana in the First Degree and Possession of a Concealed Weapon without a Permit. His arrest came after Officers were dispatched to East Lyons Street area in reference to individuals trying to sell vacuum cleaners. Officers located the vehicle and could smell the odor of marijuana coming from inside. He was arrested along with another person in the vehicle.
He was processed and later transported the Marengo County Detention Center for a Bond Hearing.
