On June 22, 2017, the Demopolis Police Department arrested Robert Lee Davis III, B/M age 19 of Northport, Alabama for One (1) Count of Possession of Marijuana 1st Degree.  His arrest came after Officers were dispatched to the area of Lyon Street in reference to an individual riding around in a grey Dodge Mini Van trying to sell vacuum cleaners.   Upon Officers arrival, they located the vehicle fitting the description and a traffic stop was conducted.  As the Officer walked up to vehicle, the odor of marijuana could be smelled coming from inside of the vehicle, at this point all occupants were identified.   One of the passenger had an active felony warrant out of Tuscaloosa County, Alabama.  He was held for the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Office. 

Officers searched the vehicle and found drugs in the vehicle.

Both were transported to the Marengo County Detention Center.
