On October 31, 2017, the Demopolis Police Department arrested Mack Leon Tucker, Jr., B/M, age 22, of Linden, Alabama for One (1) Count of Receiving Stolen Property 1st Degree. He was arrested on a warrant from Chilton County, Alabama after he was caught in possession of a stolen trailer that was taken from SunSouth (John Deere Store) in Demopolis, Alabama.
He was transported to the Marengo County Detention Center to await the Chilton County Sheriff's Office.
The SunSouth (John Deere Store) theft is still under investigation and more arrest are expected.
