On December 26, 2017, the Demopolis Police Department arrested Xavier McShan, B/M, age 20 of Demopolis, Alabama for One (1) Count of Possession of a Controlled Substance and One (1) Count of Possession of Marijuana.  His arrest came after Officers were patrolling near the Bontanical Gardens area when they came upon a vehicle parked behind some trees.   

Officers made contact with two individuals inide of the vehicle and could smell the odor of marijuana coming for the vehicle.

Also arrested was another individual for misdemeanor charged Possession of Marijuana.

Both were processed and transported to the Marengo County Detention for a Bond Hearing.
