On May 25, 2018, the Demopolis Police Department arrested Walter Sanders, B/M age 57, of Demopolis, Alabama for the following charges:
One (1) Count of Driving Under the Influence
One (1) Count of Possession of a Controlled Substance
One (1) Count of Possession of Marijuana
His arrest came after a traffic stop near Parker's Tire, when the Officer detected that he was DUI and had Marijuana and another Controlled Substance inside of the vehicle.
He was processed and later transported the Marengo County Detention Center for a Bond Hearing.
